    Jason's Coyote Powered RCR40 Downunder

Its been a while and dropped in to look at all the new builds. Pretty cool. Still have the GT40 and its still running perfectly. Now building some other cars, a photo of my shop. I know they are not GT40's but they are a load of fun. You can see the 40 in the background :)

    Sean's RCR 40

Fast work, well done Sean. I wish I had moved through mine a bit quicker as I love driving it. Could have been driving it years earlier with your pace :)

Thanks. The photos are awesome and I really like what Glenn has done with the story as well. If you live in Australia be sure to pick up a copy, the rest of the magazine is great too.

    Racelogic and gated shifter

Thanks for the reply. I think I will need to add spring return to centre to the RCR shifter. The R8 shifter is worth a hell of a lot of money.

    Racelogic and gated shifter

    Is the gate spring loaded?

    Racelogic and gated shifter

I just connected the standard RCR shifter in an RCR car with the Graz transaxle. There is no spring return to the 3/4 gear position and it feels a bit vague. has anyone looked at adding any spring return at the shifter or the trans for the cross gate movement?

Whar engine to choose: 302 vs Coyote

Coyote. Fuel injected ITBs turn the key and off you go all day long with good power. Can look great if you do it well. If you want to look original are you also putting Girling brakes, full steel monocoqie, peroid fuel pumps etc? Some would say that I am biased though!

    Front suspension lifts

    That's it, it's great.

    Front suspension lifts

I used ramlift, works great and fast. Only negative point is it's loud when it hits end travel and activates the bypass.

    H Craft GT-R

Well done, I love the OEM parts mix on the car. This is one of my favourite "practical" RCR cars and I look forward to your next post to see it progress. It will surely be a great car to drive.

    Jason's Coyote Powered RCR40 Downunder

It is a fast track, I have done track days there in my old 911 and found myself going backwards down the track on more than one occasion. I really want to get the car into regularity but life is just too busy at the moment to get into racing again. I know once I start its going to be hard to...

Now that the car is all painted its time to blast it all off again! Starting to move into using the car as it should be. Ever so slowly though :) It really is a great car. Simply drive it to the track and home. The car has now done over 10,000 Kms and not missed a beat.

    All Things Coyote

That is very unlucky. Never heard of that just for noise. Looks like every Harley Davidson rider in Australia needs to worry. You must have been moving.
