Need a bit of block plate help

Greetings all, I am fitting the engine, a 351 W, to a Kennedy Engineering Adapter to connect my ZF ( not a Pantera box ). The inspection shield or block plate does not match the one I have, was wondering if anyone knows the plate that fits the Kennedy Engineering adapter. If this is common...

Sir, I am going basically the same install. May I ask how much cutting you had to do to fit the starter? And, did you cut to fit or did you give it about 1/4 inch? Thanks for any help. I have looked over your build - very nice. Tru

Greetings, Should you wish to make the fan(s) on your coolers RPM based, I believe Pegasus has an RPM switch ( simple to understand ) that may allow you to have the fans come on at low RPMs and turn off at higher RPMs allowing the car moving through the air to not be restricted. Just an idea. Tru

    Dean's GT-R build thread

Hi Dean, Is it black fibre braid on the clamp? I like that - will use it on my system. I have a nylon type wire braid that looks just like that. Great build. Tru

    Dean's GT-R build thread

Dean, Is the expension tank bolted directly to the fire wall or did you tilt it a little by bending the mounting ears? It looks direct, was just wondering. Tru

    Rick's RCR GT40

Thanks for the info. The POR15 looks like it would be good for upper frame and then coat the bottom, the surface close to the road, with bedliner. Tru

    Tilt front end

Randy, Thank you for this. I like the ease of the bracket construction and the straight forward solution. I fear my front nose will be off like yours...but will deal with it. Again, thanks. Tru

    Tilt front end

Hi, So, I am leaning towards the tilt front end. I don't plan on tilting it a lot, but when I do have to service the front end items, it looks to be easier. But, I have a concern with tilt approaches shown in builds in that they rest on the bottom lip of the nose. Would it be better to...

    Impression of cancelling headlamps

Hello again, There are a number of vehicle currently produced that cancel the headlamp on the side the turn signal is on. This is simple to do. I was wondering what you thought of this as a feature. Tru

    Switches

I agree - I have a small list that is generic. I was just wondering of there were things switched from within the cockpit that may be after-thought or "gee, sure would be nice to force that on." I'll cut two extras and block them over JIC. Yeah - I plan on red, blue and green with feedback...

    New to swirl pot

Here is the diagram. It was suggested by another racer that the swirl pot would help with the fuel pumps prime.

    New to swirl pot

So, I have two pumps that deliver 6 PSI each, left and right side. I also have a 6 port swirl pot. Eight thursty webers set to 3.5 PSI with a regulator at the frnt end of the fuel rail. Here is the question: the reg. will maintain 3.5 on the fuel rail and dump the excess from the pumps to...

    Front lens fit - RCR

So, I am not a body guy in any form of imagination. I was cutting the clear lens material for the head lamps and noticed the thickness of the body to the channel the lens fits into varies. This is on a RCR. The lens sits at the same depth as the body on most places - but there are some where...

OMG, you guys are great! I am not sure I would share my build as I see people on here with a vast amount of talent of which I could not compare. But this information is great as I prepare to cut metal. Tru
