    The Bathurst 1000

Good comments all - totally agree that this years last 20 laps were nail biters. Bathurst 12 hour is still worth a look , and the muscle car masters are the best entertainment going - went to EC for fathers day again this year, best bit of fun going around. Felt really sad for the the Kiwis who...

    LS1 engine in a GT40

This is a very interesting thread - it was pointed out to me that the advantages of an LSX can be the lighter weight Alu block, better developed pushrod engine, buy dress up bits to make it look like a Ford. But I'm left wondering by the time you pick up an LSX engine for not much money, and...

    Electric RCR's

    Hi from Canberra, Australia

Hi Bernie - thanks for the welcome, and congrats on getting so far along with your GT40. Craig - I think I need to do that business trip to the Gold Coast to see the clients that I actually do have up there. The finance package is sounding very attractive for a turnkey, and I think I have a...

    Hi from Canberra, Australia

Thanks for the welcomes! Jim: - Nice engines indeed, but compared to FI Jap cars/V8's, the euro's are a bit undrpowered. There are a couple of turbo/Supercharged M3's getting around Canberra at the moment. I like your work shown on the website BTW - sound like some really hand parts for GT40's...

    Hi from Canberra, Australia

I've been lurking on these forums for a little while, thought it was time I registered. I'm pondering building a GT40 over the next couple of years as my new car - I've not grown up with V8's but do have a hankering to own one. I'm a BMW nut, and my current car has had quite a bit of work...
