Hi I have been trying to get my GT40 to stop wandering and get rid of the bump steer at high speeds ,I watched this and made one up myself and found I had over 15mm bump,I moved the rack up 25mm and got rid of it all,what a difference to drive.Such a simple thing to build with big results...

I had a look at my ECU Pages,speedo needs 0 - 10V square wave,just needs a pulse to let the ECU know its moving.

I Have my speedo and that wire connecting to it,we had a scan tool on it and it didn,t raise any faults,I think the chip I put in the ecu also to allow me to run with out the body modal may also helped,realy works well idle and drives great.

Hi Collin I have the AU2 XR8 engine in mine,I use the chip from T.I. Performance – Ford Performance Tuning and my speedsensor it the reed switch in the Porche Box and pulse sensor will work I passed the emissions test with this and new cats and O2 sensors last year www.thebuilds.com

Hi All,After driving the GT for 6 months I noticed it was wandering a higher speed,as my front wheels are 17" with 245 tyres I couldn,t get much caster Tyres hit on fenders. I changed the front tyres to 215 x 40 and got 40mm more clearance,now I am able to get 5 1/2 POS caster,what a difference...

They are just the greatest to drive,even backing out from a parking bay can draw people watching,the designer realy got the shape and the height of the car perfect.Its funny to here what it gets called by on lookers,, err austinmartin ,ferrari most have no idea what a GT40 is.:)

After 4 years of building I got my rego,its realy great to drive a GT40 (Kit)most people have never seen or know the history of the GT40 and its great to fly the flag. I made this car to drive as much as I can even to work sometimes ,as it realy does put a smile on my dial and all around...

Thanks I used the adaptor plate from Chris Custom machined muscle car parts - BNC Products and its so light I can push the pedal with my hand.
