    Randy's RCR40 MKI

Randy, curious. Did you find the bellhousing needed much dialing in?

My Gold GT40 MKIIb Is Ready For Spring.

Looks amazing Jorgen. I bet that Gold in the sunshine is jaw dropping. Well done. I may be forced to bring my baby MkI up to play. I know I won't keep up, but I will have a lot of fun trying.

    Hex Bar Linkage

Thanks. Both. I'll do some exploration on the McMaster sebsite. But that kit looks exactly right too.

    Hex Bar Linkage

I would like to replace the linkage on my 48IDA Weber setup. I have some wear in the existing setup and would like to replace with the hex bar style linkage but cant' seem to find a source. Any direction appreciated. Thanks

Gurney Westlake Valve Covers, fit Superformance headers?

I have those on my car and yes they fit, but it's tight on the LHS. I can't take that valve cover off without taking off/loosening the appropriate header pipe. Not ideal but workable.

My GT40 MK2 at SEMA - We made it

Congratulations Jorgen. The car looked amazing in person and I agree that color is dead on. Also the details you put into the manifold and down to the tires just made the whole car pop.

    What‘s that noise?

Dan, do you by chance have a lift system installed?

    Its official MK I GT40P 2426

Not being an engine expert I can only give my opinion based on driving behavior. I would categorize it as a mild+ cam as its pretty smooth on the street and comes alive on the track. With the stack setup, overlap is a consideration due to reversion, so my engine builder advised and I went with...

    Its official MK I GT40P 2426

Thanks Brian, I'm familiar with that efi hardware piece. It may be a last resort, as I want to keep a more period correct look. I also believe that if this issue with this setup is unique to me there may be something else going on in my setup. Appreciate the pics and responses.

    Its official MK I GT40P 2426

Thanks for the detail photo. That's the same setup I have. I will be interested in your thoughts on drivability. I found mine to be very difficult to finesse at low speeds (in traffic - and I know that's not where these cars love to be, but life can be like that). It felt like the throttle...

    Its official MK I GT40P 2426

Thanks Rob, Jim set mine up too, but the linkage is different. Mine is a center mount (horizontal with a single mount into the manifold) not on a shaft like yours. Interesting.

    Its official MK I GT40P 2426

Rob, looks great. I would be very interested in more detailed photo's of your throttle linkage setup at the TB's with that side pull. I have the same side pull and struggle with smooth progression. Thanks Cameron

    SUPERFORMANCE TOOL ROOM COPY

I have seen detailed photos matched side by side with photo's of the original. The tool room copy is VERY accurate, down to the individual parts used. This is not the same car as the regular MkI and MKII cars. Tons of specific detail. I believe there may be one in the Superformance showroom...

    Quaife QBE62G Speedo output

I have swapped out my mechanical speedo for a GPS unit. I need to 'cap' the speedo output from the transaxle. Is there a part for this, or do you just make something to cap the hole and output blade? Thanks in advance.

Ken Miles' MKII From Ford vs. Ferrari

I hasten to add that the number I requested wasn't 'far' out of sequence. I don't know if you would have the same experience asking for something way out in the future - aka 3000.

Ken Miles' MKII From Ford vs. Ferrari

Chris, the chassis numbers are not necessarily sequential. I requested a specific chassis number which put my car out of chronological sequence, I'm sure there are other instances where the numbers don't line up in chronological order. I do know that for correct licensing, numbers must be...

    SPFMK2 Coil over swap

I did the swap for the Cobra Valley double adjustable shocks and springs from Performance Unlimited on my SPF MkI. I'm very happy with them on the street and track. Firm but supple on the street, tight on the track.

    Superformance A/C controls

There are two different configurations for the Superformance controls, depending on car #. I have what I believe is the current iteration with temp + dash vent to footwell control + a separate flip switch for defrost. As well as the AC on/off and the recirc buttons. AC will not operate/engage...

Lurked here for quite some time.

Kinda looks like a Dino front end to me. Although like you, I really have no idea.
