    How soon do you need the engine during SLC build process?

    I'm trying to figure out how much someone could get done with an SLC build before not having the motor bolted in slows you down. I've contemplated purchasing the kit in stages. Trying to figure out an overall order of doing things....

    Anyone running a Griffin Transaxle in your SLC?

    Was looking thru all the options of transaxles we have to choose from to run in an SLC. I really like the idea of having a 6 speed. But the Porsche G50's are much cheaper... Is anyone here running a Griffin transaxle? Here is a link I found to their prices. Not sure how updated this price list...

    SLC Insurance, registration etc..

    I've read so much info on the SLC I'm having SLC overload sickness... A few things i need to know that are not talked about are: 1. Does it come with a title? 2. Does it have a VIN? 3. How do you register it? 4. Is insurance crazy high?

    New guy from Texas

    Hey guys my name is Dave Nugent and I live in Houston Texas. I've been a huge car enthusiast as far back as I can remember. Currently I drive a 96 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX with a fully built 2.3L Stroker motor. Running mid 11's in the 1/4 mile. Looking to hopefully build an SLC in the future.
