    1965 spf gt40 sold

I know I am fast approaching 200K if not there already on my car. If you really want to do them right there are no big shortcuts. To make a car that makes nice noises and runs on the street, it can probably be done for around 170-180k.

    $52 Million getting wrung out

I think that one is more like in the mid 30 mill range. The video conveys why these are so awesome and special. But then we are fortunate to experience GT40s, not too shabby either.

Ok our solution is a new locking collar that can be scverewed on before but with a small bolt in it so it can be clamped to the spindle, then we are also machining some bearing retaining rings out of better materials. The locking collar loosened because the tab in the retaining ring failed...

    Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act

Spoke with Morgan. They are going to be offerign ford 4cyl and v6 powered cars in 2017, so I guess someone at ford is going to be selling them epa mtors that fit the bill. Aparently the DOT has 12 months to implement the rule so cars wont roll till 2017..

    Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act

Its funny we here are focused on high performance cars. The reality is most plastic rods will comply with the rule, and they are mostly Gm powered anyway. That will be the volume part of this buisness. Might be fun to see excalibur back in production again. I am guessing all those new build...

    Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act

I can see new morgan 4 wheelers again with ford powertrains. Maybe some cobras, if its emissions compliant will the buyer care if its a Gm engine.

ad some sleeves machined, installed them on the hubs. This needed a change in the size of the wheel bearings (larger). Problem solved. Not a so heavy job, if you have a good machinist (PM me if you want his contact details, to get more info...) Pm sent Thanks Sean

Based on what peole here are saying, will def try to sort out the carb. We know the engine is loading up and missing coming out of bends. maybe fuel sloshing out the float bowels. Frankly between the brakes, crossmembers etc we have been focusing on getting the car dynamicaly sorted first, that...

The car is running a modified Holly built by Quick fuel, so maybe its just a matter of adjusting the floats or fuel flow. I also think that with the gs the car pulls on corners maybe the fuel is sloshing in the inlet manifold to one side. Probably next summer we will put some 02 bungs in and...

Its a quick fuel carb, ie a modified upgraded holley, so perhaps it just needs adjustement to the floats.
