Hey Phil. Just came across your post, I had the same issue, had quotes made for adapters to go from tripod style to 108 style and it was kind of pricey. My CVs were so short it would have reduced the CV angles too much. So I bought S2 coupe axles that are direct fit and have the correct porsche...

Happy 2018 !! Hopefully this should be the the final year of the build. Mocked up panels recently. Lots of work ahead (gaps, patches, areas to replace or build, new structures, hinges...) but once this is sorted, the rest should be really basic and straightforward. I have to make...

Nice build :) The round coolant filler tank has huge section drains (same overall diameter as the system I guess) did you have to make a vortex separator inside ?

Yes it will be interesting to see how it handles, oversteering is to be expected. Just hope that tire wobble/shake wont be a problem. There's around 2,5" - 3" width that might be gained using spacers, anyway the body shape is like the rear end will still substantially be narrower...

Hi! I'm from the east, near Nancy ;) the project should move forward in the next few months. Lenghtening and patching the doors is quite time consuming when done traditionnaly, but this time I'll use a bead roller and spot welder to gain time on some large areas. Should look like a car...

Thanks !! It looks good from the pics but lots and lots of time will be spent to do some more detailed work. Dont hesitate to discuss any things eventually done wrong you'd see on the build, it aint straightforward as its the first time I do car from the ground up.

Well, got the body off to finish all the chassis welds and then back. Rear suspension re-designed with 4 top hats and the cantilevers now operate the shocks. To allow proper street ride height I had to adjust the now 4 sleeved airbags with cups like in the front, but they tend to...

Rollcage is in. Floors next, water, fuel and brake tubing, etc... The engine should be wired this winter too. The actual body dosent seem good to me enough so I'm looking for other elements to restart with (doors, rear fenders) so I can do a full Metal-finish job with no planishing...

Some stuff just arrived, next couple of weeks should be busy... :) injectors are 39 lbs, setup will be AN8 line +walbro 450 in-tank. I am not sure whether the 102 TB will be mounted flat or facing forward with an elbow. it will depend on piping clearance available to reach to...

Thanks ;) Thats an air lift system (autopilotv2) very simple to install and use. The 5 gallon tank should go next to the fuelcell in front, but that will be a tight fit... (from what I measured from another of my cars) • Afficher le sujet - Chevy coupe 52 The rear fenders...

Hey fellows, I am new here. So to introduce myself, here's a car I have been working on for some time now. I've always liked the DS shape and think the 2-door/chopped proportions would be a go. A friend of mine started to build one a while ago, so I could ckeck this car had real...
