I'm currently drawing up CAD/CAM for windsrceen surround. Can anyone confirm the following dimensions of a screen are correct for the above bodies? I believe these are the dims of the screens CAV use, which should be the same as GTD, KVA & ERA. Thanks.

How are the inner and outer skins of the doors typically laid up and joined on a replica? Are they simply an inner and outer skin bonded together after demould or a press mould bolted together pre-cure? Thanks.

Not sure your budget, but maybe etch prime and then 2K polyurethane your ally panels yourself instead of paying for powdercoating? The durability of 2K is about the same and a stone is going to chip anything at 70mph anyway! Look out for a 3M Accuspray Gun going cheap on ebay, they are not...

How much build time does the Carbon/Aluminium mono chassis save over the space-frame chassis do you think?

Thanks for the welcome chaps. I'm in Deal, Kent so dangerously near Margate and GTForte. Car in poster I don't know what GT40 it was as no longer have the poster. Perhaps it was GT/103 or 4. It was a blue one lol!

Today is the start of a dream to own that car in the poster that was on my bedroom wall 35 years ago. Hoping to buy an older replica already made that might need some work or a half-finished project as I can't afford to do this from scratch or have the time to.
