    Columbus Ohio RCR40

I like the keep it simple stupid approach. I had the driver side tank modified to install an in tank aeromotive pump with its own reservoir and check valves ( eliminates the need for a swirl pot or other type of external reservoir of fuel). The passenger side tank simply has a low pressure...

Thank you Dave, I’m definitely planning on doing some protective film. I made the mistake of not doing it on my cobra and that won’t happen again.

    Sean's RCR 40

Well it's been a long wait, but I can finally see the light on the other side of the tunnel. The car went to paint in April of last year, it took a while to get it done because there were other projects in front of it that had delays, which in turn slowed down the progress on my car. I'm very...

    Phil's RCR GT40

Nah mine has a gap as well. It was needed to make the spider match the height of the front clip.

Phil, could you snap a couple of the seal you have at the bottom of the spider as well?

    RCR40 Handbrake?

Chet, mine seems to work just fine, I installed it per the manual. My driveway is fairly steep and it holds the car very well. I’ve never had any issues with it hanging up either. Unknown on the long term effects because the car has only been driven short distances.

Phil, I noticed that you have locking pins on the rear clam? What made you decide to add them? I thought they might be needed but RCR told me they don’t

Phil, It's going to be a blue not sure on which one yet. My painter is going to spray out a few samples that I've narrowed it down to.

    Sean's RCR 40

It's been quite some time since I've posted an update, so I'd like to fill everyone in on my progress. I've still been chugging along on the build, just slowed down a little. The front end bodywork got finished up, so I gave my painter the rear clip to start body working. Both doors are on...

Jim, water pump pulley is from CVF Racing (along with my crank pulley and alternator), part number in the particular pulley is SBFS2WP. May fuse box is located under the dash on the passenger side.

    Sean's RCR 40

I'm still working on getting the body lined up. I reworked the pivot point from where the factory had it so that the rear clam opens all the way up now, rather then just 1/3 of the way. I've gotten a pretty good gap on the rear clip with the spider but I'm still seeing if I can make it better...

    Sean's RCR 40

I haven't posted in a while but I've been chipping away at the body fitment. I paid to have the body fitted at RCR so that has given me a good head start. I've gotten the lights in ( as you can see I chose not to run a fog light) Fuel fillers fitted and the front latches on. I have done most...

    Dzus Fasteners in front clip

I've noticed some people have used dzus fasteners near where the front clip meets the bottom of the spider. Could someone let me know if this is necessary and what the purpose is for?
