    High Powered Starter For Graziano

I saw a video from David Mazzie who is building a 5 rotor SLC. He covered purchasing a high powered starter for his build and the same company makes a 2.2KW starter motor for the Graz. I’ve read in some instances the stock VW/Audi starter can struggle turning over a hot engine. Just figured I’d...

    Alternator & Starter Fuse Question

Starting to design my electrical system and main connections to the battery and have a couple questions. 1)Do you need a fuse between the Starter Motor and the battery? I’m referring to the large positive cable that goes from the battery to the starter motor and not the positive wire that goes...

Best size Master Cylinder For the Graziano?

I was reviewing some Graz notes and read that some of the GT-R Builders wound up using the supplied 3/4” Master Cylinders for the front and rear brakes and used the 7/8” for the Graz. The SLC manual recommends the 3/4” for the front brakes and transaxle and the 7/8” for the rear brakes. Since...

Stainless manifold studs and nuts a good idea?

Looking for some guidance on this. I plan on buying studs and nuts to attach the LS7 style flanges with down pipes to the stock Exhaust manifolds. Wondering if using stainless hardware would make it easier to remove in the future. Are there any reasons not to use them? The stud size is M10. Thanks

    Help with confirming axle length

Got a question for those familiar with Porsche 930 CV joint axles. I am about to install my axles in the SLC with a Graziano transaxle. I moved the engine/transaxle back about 1.5” in the chassis and just want to make sure the axles provided in the kit can still be used as is without adding...

How Magnetic Should Stainless Steel Be?

Hi everyone, I am finishing welding up the cooling tubes for the SLC and noticed one of the tubes is significantly more magnetic than the rest. Wondering if perhaps I received a steel tube by mistake. They have been in my basement for three years and haven’t rusted but they have been wrapped up...

Using an EWP as an auxiliary pump to the mechanical
