Ive seen alot of crazy things within an engine block but I have never seen oil get turned into Jello. Please enlighten me as to how this could happen. Thanks

I knew this day would come soon, and now it’s here. I suspect 3D heads will be next, followed by a full block. A 3D block wouldn’t require a head gasket. Yes special tools for valve+spring installation as well for pistons, but that’s a small price to pay for eliminating an engine weak point...

Fran, could you modify the current monocoque to accept a front diff and driveshaft or would you have to design a new one from scratch?

I guess the “simplest” way would be to wait for a new C8 to crash (Front End Damage) and do an entire drivetrain swap. It’s strange they have a page on their company site promoting the Gearbox and a pdf with all the specs but ZERO with regards to consumer availability.‍

Has anyone inquired about the new Tremec DCT in a SLC? Fitment? Electronics adaption? Bolt Pattern? Flywheel?
