134A FREON

I just bought a bunch too, it's 90 degrees out so I didn't think $9 was too bad. Nothing around here is the same price it was 2 years ago...

Seem R134A was jolly good when the patent for R-12 expired and IT became bad for the Ozone.

Now they have this new stuff (since 2014 or so), R1234yf that isn't bad for the ozone for the next 25 years.

Guess I need to stock up for the old vette and this new ride.

You better grab up a few spares of R134a while you still can. It will most certainly be more tightly regulated in the future. Some places are requiring licenses / certificates to purchase Freon.

I just ordered a case off ebay. Stuff is up to about 1 dollar per oz. and I'm pretty sure it's never coming down.
