Set of DSS Racing forged pistons for a 302 based 347 Stroker like these:

http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/dms-4337x-030/overview/

These pistons have been fitted but never run and are essentially new, they come complete with oil support rings fitted, pins, retaining clips and instructions.

One of the pistons has some marks on it as per the picture but they are not even per feelable (is that a word) when you run your nail over them so will cause no issue.

£250.00 collect from Chichester or £15.00 p&p

Please note the kids food all over the kitchen side is not included in the sale and has subsequently been licked clean by me....

Hmmm well, either the pins are pressed in or floating type:idea:

The rod type governs whether the pins have to float or be pressed, not the piston, those pistons have locs/grooves etc to allow floating, but could be pressed if your inclined that way- data sheet in one pic notes that, in the real world getting the pistons off a set of press type rods without damage to the piston would a mission.

That's what I needed to know, thanks. Indeed floating then, and definitely no damage from removing them....

Darn it, nothing gets by the "Encre Blue Formidable" :)

Of course you can get them off if you heat them judiciously..
