Well, I decided to take the plunge, but in a different direction. 1972 914, no engine or trans or interior at the moment, but some nice go fast bits since it was raced a bit. Will be dropping in an LS2 or LS3 and a Cayman S/GT4 or Boxter S 6 speed. Already has 16x9 Maxilite Fuchs, SSBC big brakes on all four corners, Patrick Racing Fuel cell, radiator and twin 1400+ CFM fans, 911 front cross brace, full cage, Tilton floor mounted pedal box and remote reservoir, and Sway-A-Way hollow torsion bars. Needs some minor rust and excessive hole repair, and will modify the cage some. We'll see how things go.

This was exactly how my journey started 25-odd years ago. My first big idea was to buy a used 914 racecar roller like you have and install a rotary in it with a Porsche transaxle. Somehow I ended up with a GT40 kit ......................and that's how it all began. Have fun and post a lot of pictures.
