A gear head friend of mine is developing a web service that can match up persons in need of shipping something with travelers with extra vehicle capacity. It's been up and running since the summer and they have commuters going through most west coast cities as it stands now.
I thought I would share it here and ask for commentary on this forum since many of us drive haulers to and from various activities and some of us need to ship high value items or odd shaped stuff from time to time that we don't want the UPS driver kicking down the road.
She welcomes any comments/feedback/complaints/etc and would like to hear about what they can do to make this a more useful tool. They don't charge any overhead, it's designed to be for and about the community it serves. Thanks for your comments, she will be looking in to see what you guys think.
