Active Power Cars GT40 (Project) SOLD

Hey everyone, I really don’t want to sell my project but I’m moving to the Outer Banks and there are no garages there. I will have no room for a car no less a project.

I’m at work now and just decided to sell.

I’ll update tonight with details, but here’s a quick snapshot:

Active chassis with aluminum tanks
Corvette suspension
Rack and pinion
QA1 coil shocks
2015 Gen II Coyote engine
Slash mold body

Still needs a lot of work. Major items are the transaxle, adapter plate and Coyote control pack.
After you get those, the big things are done.

I’m asking $29,000 and open to offers.

Here are some pictures, but like I said, I’ll add more tonight.

Thanks, it needs a lot of work to finish, but the basics are there. It’s a great project. The engine alone is worth 8 grand.

I’d keep it but I need the cash. My wife and I are moving and there probably won’t be a garage there anyway.

I’m open to any offers. Don’t worry you won’t insult me. I may say no, but I won’t be offended.

I need this gone in the next 60 days.

Boy... déjà vu for me.... Very similar situation/condition as when I bought my DRB back in 2014.
Sold it couple years after completion as that was "the plan" when purchased....did ALL the work myself. But I really miss it.
Looks to be a good project to take over for the right guy.
Coyote is a good choice IMO... mate to 996 transaxle??
No front glass?
I personally prefer the MK1 aft shell and twin nostril panel...but those could be remedied..

Hope somebody worthy comes through on this.....

Thanks, this is a good project and the 996 trans is the correct drivetrain. That’s what the trans mounts are designed for.

We’re moving to a place that doesn’t have many garages so I’m trying to sell it. If I can find a place with a garage, I may just keep it and finish it.
