Another Christchurch quake, NZ

Reports out for another shake in Christchurch, 5.8 just before 2pm this friday afternoon ( 1hr & 8 mins ago ), a few aftershocks since. thats all I know

Edit, two more in the last hour, the last one apparently largest of the three, friday afternoon here, lots of folk doing last minute xmas shopping etc, no reports of major injury etc, yet, lets hope it stays that way..

Bloody hell, the last thing you buggers need just before Christmas.

Sorry to hear of yet more bad news for Christchurch.
My cousin, Mark Veitch, lives in ChCh but he and his family are OK. Morale must be very low at this time. Best wishes, and hope this is the last serious quake for a long time.

No Dave, have not been in contact with him, I see he was on here ( GT40's) about 5 hrs ago, his w/shop is not close to the liquifaction areas etc.
