Anyone see the GT-40 in the latest \"XXX: State of the Union\"

Just a quick glimpse in "Rides" while they're scoping out the new Shelby Cobra prototype...

Is it me or do you guys think that Hollywood considers the GT-40 the "car du jour" these days...?

I just saw the movie (what a mistake by the way) and they do indeed have a GT40 Mk I as well as a new GT. They dont have an important roll unfortunately...

I caught the tail end of that program and i was very intrigued by the V10 motor, which I assume, is a prototype? The overall size of the dry sumped lump, looked to me like it was the same or similar size lengthwise as the stock block V8 in which case it would fit a '40.

Interesting possibility if it was commercially available.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
