AP Racing Calipers Heli Coil Has Come Out!!

Evening
Ok removed the caliper pin on my new squeaky clean AP 5000 calipers and the spring which looks like a heli coil on the thread end came out with it?? Any ideas?
I have emailed AP see if they can do a repair, odd as they are brand new, anyone had this happen or know how to replace the spring

If installed correctly it should not have come out. If it is a thread insert it has a tab that is used to install it. This tab is usually broken off after installation in which case you just need a new insert and screw it in. I usually put some locktite on them when installing as some insurance.

Cheers Eric that makes sense, I think maybe it was not fitted correctly, that one has alwats been a pig to fit the pin into, I'll see what AP say as well
