Corvette Suspension on a GT40?

I am building a scratch tube GT40 chassis and have a Corvette C4 front end and a C5 rear end set up From which I would like to use some or all of the components. I am sure that this subject has probably been discussed at length somewhere, but I have searched the forum and can't seem to find much on the subject. Is this feasible and what are the pros and cons? Has anybody built a GT40 using these components? Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Look around for ActivePower GT...
There are others too but they are a current mfgr.

Is active power still active?
There is another thread in ''All GT40'' Forum, titled 'New 1966 gt40 kits available.... that used vette stuff as basis, make your own mind up as to its suitability.

Chris Ardern is back in the GT40 game as I understand it.
IMHO, it's hard to beat the C5+ suspension geometry if you're going to deviate from the original Lola/Ford recipe.. GM spent millions in research on that suspension to build production cars that had world-class handling right out of the box on street rubber..

KVA uses rear Corvette suspension components! Mine are connected to a Porsche 930 transaxle!
