Evaporator outlet openings

The attached photo shows my evaporator with the 3 outlets on top. What are the other 2 bumps for (see arrows)? I have followed the lead of some others and installed an 'under the cowl plenum' instead of the one supplied by RCR. It looks like these 2 bumps could also be opened for some additional flow?

That looks like a Vintage Air piece. I don't see a leaver to move an inside Door ! The three are for dash or foot outlets and the two are for defrost if that unit has the door to direct the air flow. I would call RCR and ask it it is V.A. If it is call Vintage and as if you can open up the two and use for defrost. One thing to think about, in a wet climate you don't want the unit to switch from cool to heat and have condensation on your windshield.
