Fortyfication 85

The latest copy of Fortyfication, No 85, is with the printer and should go into the post this week.
Features include:
  • Piston Dynamics or ‘What it’s like to be a piston at 6,000 rpm’ by Bob MacDonald. Scary.
  • Mark Finburgh’s acquisition of P1071 in 1972 and trials, tribulations and successes with it since.
  • The long-awaited report on the Gelscoe Visit in December.
  • Updates on the Le Mans Classic, generally and about track laps.
  • The triumphant season-end for Claude Nahum, culminating in him winning the Classic Endurance GT1 championship in P1078 and coming third overall.
  • An increase in pages from 40 to 44, mostly funded by an extra page of advertising.
  • We even have a centrefold!
As usual, please post brickbats and plaudits when yours arrives, and if it doesn't within the next couple of weeks, contact me.

I just received mine today. Excellent throughout. Thanks to all who wrote articles and/or worked on it! I enjoyed the centerfold.....but what is it with those annoying staples?

Just kidding.
