My name is Mike and I'm an addict. Been lurking here from time to time, so I know most of you are addicts as well.
I got the bug for pretty much anything with a motor back when I was in single digits, and it never got any better. Started with mini-bikes and graduated to motorcycles, muscle cars and race cars.
Decided on a career in aviation manufacturing and I've spent the past 30+ years working for a major defense contractor building aircraft. Current position is Industrial Engineering Mgmt, but started out my career building and testing turbine engines for another major contractor many years ago.
I currently own a Shelby Cobra replica that I completed some 14 years ago, and an '84 911 that has a fair amount of sweat equity in it. I tend to get very attached to stuff I build, so it will be difficult to decide which one will become the sacrificial lamb when I eventually pull the trigger on a GT since I'm limited by a two car garage, but that's a decision for another day...;-)
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself before jumping in.
