While the adapter plate for the Ford 302 matches the 5/8 studs holes in the RCR40 frame, it seems I have clearance issues with the starter solenoid(see picture). Anyone have suggestions?

I understand that there are other solutions now in starters that can be properly re-clocked. Mine works fine though and will stay..
