Graziano question

Dean

i read somewhere it took brute force (chiseled off). I'm leaving mine on but I have a street tail so I plan on glassing in a blended tail cover.

This may not provide the 'look'/solution you're after, but, if all else fails, why not simply spray it in 'rattle can aluminum'?

Dean we very carefully chiseled it off and cleaned the aluminum beneath with reducer and steel wool. It looks 100% better, Hall said it was just for noise dampening, it is too ugly to leave on ....................m

Correct.. Chisel it off and use a stiff wire wheel attached to a handheld drill to finish the removal. Clean up with paint thinner or acetone in the end.

Where do we stand on our warranties if we remove it?

I know its for sound suppression but you know how manufactures can be.

I've been told by a semi-reliable source, that you can chill it with dry ice, and then pop it off with a mallet. But, I'm NOT trying that on mine - I can just see me cracking the rear cover.
