GTD front roll bar mounting bushes

Hi

Does anyone know what the front roll bar bushes are from on a standard GTD?

I have one that fits well on the drivers side, and one that clearly doesn't on the passengers side. I have attached some pics to try and explain better.

Any help greatfully received

From the look of those photos neither one of those bushes is correct.

Correctly fitting bushes should have no gap between the ends and should fit snugly in the mounting bracket.

I would suggest going to a suspension specialist and purchasing the correct size bushes, which they would have in a multitude of sizes, in urethane.

The difference in handling will amaze you.

If you simply measure the diameter of the roll bar itself, you should be able to find bushings the right size. The ones on my Pantera are almost identical to the ones on my GTD, just a slightly larger diam. bar.

 

The roll bar is 5/8" or 16mm, bushing can be had through Energy Performance, look up their website for part #'s and order from Summit Racing.

Original standard factory fit non uprated roll bars were I beleive 18mm. Uprated went to 20mm and super uprated went to 22mm. If yours are 18mm bars, pm your address to me and I wpost you a set of standard rubbers out. I am sure I have a set on the shelf.

Measure the ID off the bracket ..the OD. off the bar & you can get uprated poly bushes from Rally-Design in Kent...or Demon-Tweeks.
