Hello, just joined up. I am building a McLaren M12 look a like using an LS1 engine, G50 gearbox, alloy monoque chassis and a M6GT body with the top cut off. Approx 2 1/2 years work so far, so could be almost half way through!

Not sure whether you've found these yet or not but we've got a few NZers on here doing McLarens. A couple of Leons, Leonmac in the NI doing an M20 and Haroo in the SI has an M6GT under construction. Also russell k has recently finished (are they ever finished?:huh
a very nice M8 in Auckland.
Have fun! Start a build log and post some photos of progress to date.
