Help/certification in Belgium

Is there ayone who could help me.
I bought a GTD 40 replica 1991 second hand in Belgium. The car is UK registered with papers and plaque.
I would like to find someone in UK to keep registration in UK or any other way of being able to drive the car in Belgium.
Tx to reply if you can help me

Please contact me by Email (wealdenengineer @aol.com)as I may be able to help put you into contact with other GTD Owners in Belgium who have been through the process of registration. Frank Catt

Hey Fred

I also had GT 40 repl. registered in Belgium. It was a KVA, and did not have any problems to register it. Only thing you need to do is to find a insurance cny. willing to give you a historic registration. Then you can only drive radius of 20kms around your house, but historic meetings do not have a limit (and there is always one...)
Also you are not allowed to drive night time.

Best Regards

Jukka,

I knew your proposal but it is not possible anymore.
The GT40 was never officially registered tecnically in Belgium and kits are not allowed.
The only way was to buy papers from an old Ford and use them to register under an oldtimer. This is finished now.
If you want more info you may sned an email [email protected]
