How much power to a ZF 25-2 ?

I was told by a friend that the ZF could not handle a engine 347 423hp torque 425 ft/lb he said that the ZF must have the donuts on the axle due to the high hp and torque. The flex in the donuts was the safe part for not brake parts in the gearbox. I have the 930 couplings in both ends on my drive shafts and no donuts , and there are not much flex in this, but I have not found on this forum, any gearbox damage due to this combination. Should I be worry abut this? I do not plan to spin the car out on the road and drive like I stole it.

Its more about how you apply the power. The 930 CV joints remove the rotational torque fluctuations that occurs with the normal U-joints when the angles change under power. I would be surprised if YOU damage it given your last comment above.
