HT Leads routing pics please

Can people post some pics of how they have routed their HT leads around the headers. Also what angle of boot are people generally using? Thanks

Hi Brett,
Here are a couple of pics of the ignition leads/headers on my car. I think the leads are Taylor and the headers are Hayward and Scott stainless. The plug caps seem to be angled at 45degrees from the straight ahead.
Cheers
Mike

These are the best way that I have found to keep the leads off the headers.

If you have the sweep out headers like Bud's. I would agree. If you have the close headers like mine, then you have to go below and use seperators to keep them inline. Use of insulators will help a lot. I ran mine at first without and melted several of the boots. With stainless and no coatings they start to glow around 2500 rpm. So I run these all the time now.

As heat rises, it's best to run the HT leads below the headers as Bill suggests. The original cars had them mounted on top of the engine bay metalwork.
