incomplete car insurance

I have most of my build parts together and did the rough math on what I have spent so far (not an exercise I recommend)
but I was wondering if it is possible to get insurance for the incomplete kit? it is in a detached shop. has anyone been able to get a policy, if so with who and how much? Thanks

I had it during my build, so it is possible. I was in Phoenix at the time and don't really remember the company... American Family maybe. It was a long time ago.

Check in with the normal collector places too (Grundy, Hagerty, etc...).

I used an Insurance Rider on my Homeowner's policy to cover the cost of all the parts / including the base kit.. None of the automotive insurance companies I checked with at that time (2010) would insure a car that did not have a VIN and an MSO was not acceptable by the underwriters..
