I was a helicopter gunner on rescue helicopters for ten and a half years. National Geographic was filming this before I got out. I thought I'd share this here because this was a pretty amazing piece of my life (CSAR) and NatGeo did one hell of a job capturing the moments on film.

I would not be here today if it had not been for balsy and selfless chopper pilots and gunners who put themselves in harms way to save the lives of others...
