I and a couple of buddies went with Coach to pick up his new Pond's 482 Keith Craft motor today. When we got there I went looking for the dyno room. Last year when I was there I forgot about his dyno because I was looking at all the equipment and parts. But this time not only did I remember to look, I got lucky.
Kendall was getting ready to dyno a Dart block 363. I'm just in time and with my camera.
After a few pulls it made 499.5 at 5900 and 486 tq at 4900.
Kendall told me the motor was for a GT 40. Some guy named Peter.
I have 4 or 5 videos of the pulls.
This is the motor I would love to have in my GT 40!
We had a great time at Keith's. He was out of town at a equipment show but his wife was showing us around.
All the guys working there answered our "many" questions and stopped long enough for us to get a group picture.
Great day! Had a good trip. 740 miles in 14 1/2 hours.
