London-Brighton Run on Chasing Classic Cars

Did anyone watch the season opener of Chasing Classic Cars May 5th (last night)? I've followed this interesting parade of cars over the years with envy and appreciation of the support staff that it takes to get the show on the road. Great history of the event and 400 automobiles, some 125 years old, that can make the 54 mile drive in the rain/weather. Wayne Carini, co-driver, and two others in a red 1904 FORD, pushed and willed the car up hills and through the rain. The stuff friendships and stories are made of for the years. A 'Bucket List Item"....

That one would required many running pushes up the 7 or so hills along the route. The rain made the event m-i-s-e-r-a-b-l-e coupled with the overheating, electrical failures, pushing of the car, the drivers and support crew were worn out 5 miles short of the finish. All in all, I'd like to try it with a 25 hp automobile or maybe not carry 4 people on board with a 7-9 hp engine.
