Modified fresh air duct front clip

My car, which I own now for about 13 years and along the way have been modifying, had fresh air ducting from the NACA ducts through a hose to the interior of the car.
What has been annoying me the whole time is that when I wanted to open the front clip, I had to manually disconnect the hose from the NACA duct on both sides and reconnect them when closing the front front clip.

When I bought the car, it had air conditioning.
I removed that already a long time ago (2016).
Remaining a heater unit, which I only used for blowing fresh air, since heated air inside a GT40 makes no sense.

So I decided to remove that heater unit, including all the plumbing and left-overs from the AC.
Replaced it for 2 inline blowers, 1 for fresh air going to both eyeball vents and the other for the windscreen vent (just using the cockpit air)
