after having followed numerous threads on this Forum, I am ready to have a go at building a GT-40. I have previously built a bike engined MK Indy, and I am currently tracking an Elise S1 VVC. With the GT Forte kit, and the use of an Audi Gearbox, a GT 40 build has moved into the price range I am willing to spend.
Plan is a track biased build, so weight, suspension and brakes are more important than originality. Since I have an old Lexus LS 400 that I bought on e-bay when I was drunk, I might even use that engine for the build ( Like Fastdruid). Kit has not been ordered, and no descissions are final as of yet, but I thought I would come out of hiding, and introduce myself.
