new to the gt40

hello: i always wanted a gt40 ford...i have had 9 shelby gt350 mustangs.three cobras, one clone...i now have an original gt350 mustang gt350 and would trade it for a gt40...........so i'am going sell or trade my gt350 for a gt40. either an era or a cav or sp gt40. thanks for having me! domenic

Did you buy a new CAV or find one from someone re-selling. What # car is it and PLEASE let's see some photos. I have CAV #82.

How do I determine what # CAV car I have? I purchased it on MSO. Is it in the VIN # like my SP Daytona Coupe? Please advise.

I will post photos as soon as I figure out how to.

Dino, There should be a plate under the front clip tacked to the chassis. It will say CAV MONO followed by some letters and numbers. And yes it is the VIN # or so its used as such here in Florida. The plate is about 2" X 3" if I recall.
