Saturday night excursion

After dinner Saturday, and watching a little TV, my girlfriend and I decided to take a drive to see if we could see the twin lights memorial at ground zero.
It was visible from where we live here in western New Jersey, but being approx 50 miles away we decided on a better look.
We were lucky to be able to drive almost to the waterfront and walked about 1/4 mile to the shore of the Hudson River.
The lights were pretty intense, and as can be seen in one of the photos there were what looked to be birds flying in the light.
We also caught a shooting star in one of the photos.
It was incredibly calm at the area we picked, and a few others were there taking photos also.
Got home at 3:30 AM....well worth the trip.
Never forget.
Cheers
Phil
