I was poking around Audi R8 sites trying to learn more about the Graziano gearbox and I tripped across aftermarket exhaust systems for the R8. Seem to be solving the same problems the SLC crowd is, packaging, noise, heat. Anybody tried any of these systems as a jumping off point?

You would need to be running an R8 engine to be able to use any of the parts really...and with that said there muffler system used is MASSIVE , heavy and stands no chance of packaging in an SLC.
Fran, thanks again. I was amazed at the weight and size of the Audi muffler system. What prompted the question were aftermarket systems from Agency, SPM, Fabspeed which all quote 30-40 # weight reduction and do not look like the stock system. Certainly, these are not bolt on but maybe they could be basis for semi-custom system. All the threads seem to be building full custom systems.
