I've just moved to The Chicago area with my wife's job and to keep the boredom at bay I'm going to build a kit car.
I was originally going to build a GT40 but Fran has sold the Idea of the SLC because their resale costs are higher and their simpler to build.
So my question is this, does anybody know what the average resale price is for a finished SLC, do they generally sell for above or below the $100k mark.
Fran tells me you can build one with an LS3 and Ricardo transaxle for about $70k is this realistic?
It's not that I don't trust Fran, he's been very helpful and I know he will read this post and perhaps comment but I'd rather have the opinion from people without a vested interest in selling me a car.
