Steering Quick release

I recently made some parts for a Toyota Suppra, and the owner had this really slick quick release on the steering wheel. The brand was NRG. I have used the hex and spline types on some chassis, and although the spline unit was much tighter than the hex type it still had a slight bit of play.
This unit has nice features, and locks on with a series of balls inside the wheel side of the coupler. It sort of looks like the inside of an air hose coupler, but larger and with more balls.
The best features I found were that the wheel has ZERO play, the unit has provision for electrical contacts such as horn etc., and it always locks in the same position no matter what clock position it is put back, just rotate it and it finds the original location.
Just wondering if any members out there have had experience with this unit?
Cheers
Phil
