Transmission cooler

Hi
I have just secured a build spot for a mk11. The dealer is saying that a transmission cooler is not necessary unless you're going to be racing the car hard. He also said that they are very noisy. At this point I have not ticked the option box but definitely will do if recommended by owners. Car will not spend much time on a race track.
Thanks

Assume you have an SPF with RBT (or ZF) trans on order? You don't need a trans cooler. I did many track days without a cooler. Only if you're on track for more than half an hour might you need one.

Ill assume its a Shelby Continuation (Hilbank Motor corporation) with the optional 600BHP aluminium bored & stroked 427FE to 496.

Bump - does everyone think a trans cooler is needed for a quaife box with a 468 ci 550 hp FE motor?
