Turn signal trouble shouting

Ok I just took my car out of storage and the turn signal did not work. The switch is good! and the fuse. When I his the switch left/right nothing happens.. not even the light indicator. The only thing I can't check is the flasher switch. If this fails will no lights light up as well when out put the indicator on?

Generally, if your flasher unit takes a dump, your turn signals will not work at all. Flashers are cheap enough that it's a viable solution to just buy another flasher and use it as a diagnostic test. Swap it, and if it works, you found your problem and you're done. If not, you're only out a few bucks.

What about the electrical connector between the turn signal switch and the main harness--could that have come adrift somehow?
