U-channel trim for SL-C door opening question..

Everyone..

I've asked this question but I'm not really finding the product that I want to use. Maybe someone will send this post and offer photos of their solution.

Problem: I'm trying to find an adequately sized U shaped edge grip channel that can be used for my SL-C door opening. This channel would be used to trim out the roof to headliner panel edges at the door opening. The issue is that nobody makes an edge grip channel that is designed for a 1/4"-5/16" thickness that has enough width that I believe will actually stay on.

I'd like a 5/16" channel opening and 3/4" channel depth. I can add an adhesive backed bulb type seal on the top surface.

Please generate some ideas and offer links or part numbers.

Thank you for the suggestion but Im also interested in input on products that have been successfully used to date by SL-C owners.

I'm not trying to invent the wheel unless I have to.

I found this shape but it only has a 1/2" of channel depth.

No problem Aaron,
I have used them in the past and found them to be very helpful and informative I am sure they will answer your mail. After 10 years on my car the rubbers look the same as when they were first attached
