Weber Sidedraft carbs, Crossram manifold

In 1965 when McLaren built aluminum chassis GT/110 best known as Ford X-1 roadster with 427 engine, it raced at Mosport with dual Holleys and then acquired a crossram manifold with 58mm Webers, part # 3793400-80 for races at Riverside and Nassau. That car became the Mark II that won Sebring 1966. Looking for any information as to who made it and how many? That manifold eventually went to Ed Lowther for his 427 Comp Cobra and years later ended up in Cobra Collection museum. One other was spotted with FI instead of Webers. We think possibly three were cast.
Info is for book I'm writing about Roy Lunn's Legacy. Thanks, Marty

Hi Martyn, thanks for posting the picture of this mother of all FE intake manifolds. Somebody knows something... Looking forward to your book.

Cheers
Ian

According to the SAE papers, its an Indianapolis 427 engine which they started using in the X1 program during 1964.
Selected for the 64 Lemans race and raced the may '64 Nurburg 1000km race.
That book shows standing carbs and no info at all about the induction.
