What‘s that noise?

On my SPF, I noticed that as soon as I switch on the electric main switch, there is a low whining noise coming from the front of the car.

It’s not the fuel pump, they are on a separate circuit. Not the coolings fans.

It sounds like a small pump or electric motor, or somethin alike.

It‘s not very loud but definitely there.

I have no clue what it is, and can‘t seem to locate the source.

Nope, no LEDs.No electric wsterpump I can see.

So in the footwell with the pedal box? Rather sure there is nothing there. But what would it look like?

Good point, I will recheck that the fan switch is off. But I am rather sure it is. Especially because the previous owner just told me that he always had that noise as well but never bothered to find the source of it.

Open the hood lid, turn the key on, and come around the front to locate the sound. Not much up there to make that sound except the radiator fans, cockpit ventilation fans, windshield wiper/washer motors.
