Great race, congrats one the year to Little Mick Doohan (Stoner) as he appears to be on his way to dominating for a few years. Also kudos to Spies and American SuperBike Champion JOSH HAYES in his first ride on a GP bike. Great rides all through the field. Josh spent along time making his way to the top, he was battling on outclassed equipment (like most of us) during my time in Superbike and was just one of the "guys". Really great to see someone you know make the top grade after a long journey...... if maybe only for a day.
I also remember a friend complaining that Suzuki suggested (stronly) that they run some unknown kid on their endurance bike at one particular race years ago. That Kid was ......... Ben Spies.
