Has anyone ever thought of putting one of the new Jaguar all alloy 4 litre V8's into a GT40? It's a Ford after all! and the version with a supercharger would be a real flyer. I would guess it's down to someone making up a bellhousing.
Any thoughts?
Isn't the Jaguar V8 a smaller displacement version of the Ford modular V8? The same issues with the dimensions of the engine would apply. And you would still have to figure out how to drive the blower since there isn't enough space at the front of the engine.
