Rep Power: 34 | Need some information I plan on purchasing a RF GT40 Basic Kit next spring. I have read, and re-read all the literature I have received (thanks Gordon), but can't figure out what front spindles, and brake components are used. Someone once mentioned late model Corvette. Can anyone help me with this information?
Thanks

Also...I thought I saw where RF was no longer offering
the "Basic" kit...roller was the new entry level.

Rep Power: 34 | Re: Need some information Man, I hope they still offer the basic kit. If not, I'll have to wait a tad longer to afford the roller. In any case, I WANT A GT40 |

Rep Power: 24 | Re: Need some information I'm pretty sure the wheel stud pattern is that of a Corvette, but I'm not sure what car the spindles came from. Something Australian, oviously. |

Rep Power: 11 | Re: Need some information Bill, I am sorry to say that we have discontinued the basic body chassis kit. We have found it is not worthwhile for you or use to begin with this level of kit.
The spindles are a piece that RF has found and modified for their cars. The base level kit is now the rolling chassis kit and it comes with all the suspension, steering and brakes. |

I will have to save my $$$ a little longer and get the rolling chassis. I will get one, rest assured.
